4 y/o girl Elbow pain and limitation of motion Recent falling down

 

humeral supracondylar fracture

  • joint effusion (fat pad sign)
  • visible fracture line
  • symmetric capitellar epiphyseal plate width

Abnormal capitellar alignment epiphysis position

The anterior humeral line passes through the  anterior third.

Normally should pass through the middle third.

Abnormal widening of capitellar epiphyseal plate

Asymmetric widening of dorsal epiphyseal.

Normally should have uniform thickness.
